The property committee is looking for people willing to serve on a small committee to research a new church sign. Please contact Kevin Brill if you are willing to help.
The Sunday School Department is looking for several teachers for Sunday School. Classes in need are the following: Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, and 5th Grade. A music leader is needed for 1st-8th grade. We are also looking for individuals who will be on a list for substitute teaching. If you can help in any of these areas, please contact Shad Tenpas 467-1390.
The Ronald McDonald House is in need of meals for families staying in their facility. If you would be willing to help, sign up in back or contact Rick. This is an excellent ministry opportunity for our church.
Evergreens: The August meeting is scheduled for August 27th. A light lunch will be served. Following lunch Joan Heinen will give a presentation on "Caregivers". She will also have some of her paintings there for us. Sign up sheets are on the information stands in both entries (sign up by August 23rd).
The sign up sheet for the December 11th bus trip to "Broadway in the Dells" is in the south entry. All seniors are welcome to go. OOSTBURG CHRISTIAN SCHOOL cordially invites the "Senior Stars" (all area people, ages 60 and over) to join us on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Oostburg Christian School Student Center for a travelogue program featuring Don and Fran Van Polens: From Sea to Sea in a Model T. Our Moms Need You! Oostburg Area MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is looking for volunteers to care for children ages birth-5 during our meetings. We meet the second and fourth Thursdays of the month from 9am-11am at First Reformed Church in Oostburg. MOPS International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. We are looking for men and women of all ages. You can commit to as many or as few meetings as you would like. St. Paul Lutheran Preschool located at 730 County Rd PPP in Sheboygan Falls is enrolling children for the 2008-2009 school year. There will be an open house on Thursday, August 21st from 6-7:30. At this time, openings are available in the afternoon 3 year-old preschool class which meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30-2:30 pm and both 4K sessions which meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30-11:30 am or 12:15-3:15 pm.
