7:00 RCYF 7:00 Grief Share ~ Lesson 3 Emotions of Grief Part 1. This lesson deals with identifying early stages of grief and understanding destructive grief.

Just a reminder that September 28 is Harvest Sunday. Donated items will be going to Campus Life Food Pantry and Salvation Army in Plymouth. Some of the items they are in need of are: cereals, toiletries, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, soups, saltine crackers, hot chocolate, jello, and macaroni & cheese. Please watch for expired goods. Gibbsville Reformed Church Cadets Its time for our new season. 1st thru 5th Grade boys, you are invited to join Cadets this year. Our Fall Kick-Off will be Monday, October 6 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Camp Broken Bridge. It is about 1 mile north of GRC on Hwy 32. The lane is on the east side of the road. Please come for fellowship, a campfire, and for more information about the 2008 / 2009 season. Feel free to bring a friend that might also be interested to join. Hope to see you then. ChAOS Fundraiser ~ Saturday, September 27 from 8am-2pm the ChAOS group will hold a Bake Sale/Car Wash/Brat Fry at Mentinks Piggly Wiggly. The funds will go towards the Silver Birch Classis Retreat in October come and support the ChAOS group.
Classis Retreat at Silver Birch Ranch for all 6th, 7th and 8th graders (ChAOS) October 17-19. Brochures and available in the church office or see Rick for more info.
ChAOS Schedules for 2008-09 are also available in the church office. The next ChAOS meeting is Parents Night on October 6 at 7:00pm. See you there!!
The Blessed Group will meet at Camp Brokenbridge on Sunday, September 28 at 7:00pm. Bring your lawn chairs and a roasting stick. In case of bad weather, well be meeting at Jerry & Jane De Blaeys.

SPECIAL EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES Sheboygan Christian Schools Dutch Apple Pie Sale has begun! Orders must placed by Friday, October 3rd, 2008. A standard 10 pie costs $10.00 and a 6 pie costs $5.00. WOMENS FALL RETREAT Rockford, Illinois October 10 & 11. Six of the 110 ladies signed up for the retreat have conflicts and are unable to go. The weekend includes conference speakers Karen Kingsbury, Carol Kent, Thelma Wells and Chonda Pierce. Special music will be provided by Denver and the Mile High Orchestra and Richie McDonald, lead singer for country music band Lonestar. The cost for three people in a room is $114.33/person. (Other options available). Includes coach transportation, lodging, conference ticket, Saturday breakfast and lunch. The Back Row Tenors (BRTs), a nine voice mens singing group, will present a benefit concert to raise medical support for Joel Tempas. The Handbell Choir will also offer numbers during a prelude and intermission.
