To Know God and Make Him Known
No matter what stage, age, or season you find yourself in, Gibbsville is for you! We invite you to come just as you are and be part of this community of people who are striving together to discover God’s purpose and plan for their lives!
What a delight it is to introduce you to the ministry here at Gibbsville. Our Vision Statement is, “To Know God and Make Him Known”. We believe that we are called to be the very presence of Christ in our Fellowship and Community.
We offer multiple opportunities for individuals of all ages to know Christ better through interactive classes and learning environments. We also offer many opportunities for individuals to serve Christ within the context of the church and out in the Community. Worship here at GRC is dynamic with a wonderful blend of the traditional hymns of the Church and enthusiastic use of contemporary music that makes worship come alive for all ages.
We believe that you are not reading this material by chance but by choice, God’s choice. Perhaps He is calling you to be more involved in a life-giving faith ministry. If so, it may be that you have found your new church home here at GRC. Welcome! Isn’t it great to be home?
What to Expect
We know that showing up to a new place for the first time can be intimidating, but at Gibbsville it’s our desire that you feel right at home from the moment you pull into the parking lot! As a first-time guest, you are a VIP to us so we'll be there with you every step of the way! We even have an exclusive gift just for you.
Bring the kids as the care and growth of every child is our highest priority and our passion is to create exciting, Bible-driven, interactive environments specially designed for your kids!
We hope this page will provide answers to many of the questions you may have, but if not just stop in at a Welcome Center or during the week stop in the church office and we will try and help you.
HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?
Services last about one hour. We start by singing several worship songs and then Pastor David or a guest speaker preaches.
We’d love to meet you, give you a gift, and answer any questions you may have, so plan to visit one of the Welcome Centers before you leave.
CAN I ATTEND IF I AM ______?
What is your fear about not being accepted? You fill in the blank.
Divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, atheist, skeptic, etc. It doesn’t matter. Everyone is welcome at Gibbsville. So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR KIDS?
We have fun, energetic, and age-appropriate classes and other activities available for all kids from PreSchool through 12th Grade after the worship service.
There is a nursery available during the service for younger children if you desire. But we are a kid-friendly church and they are free to add to the worship experience. See the Welcome Centers for more information.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Dress up or come casual, whichever makes you comfortable. You’ll see T-Shirts, suits, sweatshirts, bowties, and everything in between!
Everyone is welcome!
DO YOU HAVE WI-FI?
Yes, we do have free wifi! We also serve free coffee, so come to enjoy a cup of coffee before service and access your online Bible during worship!
Check with the Welcome Center for our password (although it isn't hard to figure out!).
