John chapter 4 tells the story of a woman who met Jesus for the first time at a water well. At this well, her beliefs and lifestyle were confronted by the character and claims of Jesus. She came to the well for water, but she left with the greatest news imaginable! After her encounter with Jesus, she raced back to her community to tell everyone about Jesus - the One who provides a "spring of water welling up to eternal life" (John 4:14).
Our desire at The Well is to be a place where students have the opportunity to know God. This means students will be introduced to Jesus through God's Word (the Bible) and invited to place their faith in Him. We also want to see students make God known. Just as the woman at the well joyously told others about Jesus, we hope to see students make Christ known to those around them! For this reason, we encourage and equip them to be bold in their faith and invite others to "come and see" (John 4:29).
